Haiku (1988)

As cold dawn spreads
over steel-grey buildings, one
lifeless tear escapes him.

February 15, 1988

In the dark, the sea
washes rhythmically like the
breathing of the earth.

February 15, 1988

The universe presses
a dark velvet glove against
sweltered foreheads.

March 31, 1988

Aimless wraiths of one
face haunt the agitated
mists of fever-dreams.
